OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developers, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned.

• msm-firmware-loader, to mount firmware instead of bundle to free up almost 40mb from rootfs.

• Remove extra feed from apk installer:
  • This feed does nothing as its pointing to msm89xx/msm8916 wich does not exist.
  • /etc/apk/repositories.d/distfeeds.list
• Fix version to latest (instead of snapshot) OpenWrt 24.10.2
• Add opkg and make it work with luci.
• Review firmware-selector default selection of packages:
  • Investigare ImageBuilder
  • Firmware selector default packages for mt300n (mango):
